Post-Campaign Update 8: Home Stretch!
10 days ago – Fri, Aug 07, 2026 at 08:20:03 PM

I had a fancy and well-formatted update for you, but I'm apparently bad at clicking and lost it, so, here are the important parts:

Updates
My apologies for the delay sending updates. I dropped the ball on that. There may only be 1 or two more after this, but they should be more timely.

Delivery
I spoke with Space Penguin earlier this week and, while there were some unforeseen circumstances that have cased a delay, they let me know that fulfilment will start this month. Possibly later in this month, but definitely in August.

Limited Edition Bindings
I started packing these up today and plan on having the majority of them in the mail next week, with the exception of those folks who I've spoken with and will be doing hand-offs at conventions.

In the Works
For those that like the dungeon life, Bloodbath Dungeon 03: The Caliginous Cenotaph of Cemlyn is on deck for next year!

Prefer a more cozy scene? Then our next solo game The Last Shoppe may be what you are looking for. Looking to crowdfund this in the Fall.

Upcoming Shows
8/8: Wolf Crest Game Con
8/13-8/16: Necronomicon in Providence, RI
8/29-8/30: Art and Collectibles in Baltimore, MD
9/4 - 9/6: Whose Yer Con in Indianapolis, IN
9/11 - 9/13: CouncilCon in Schenectady, NY
9/25 - 9/26: ShireCon in North Canaan, CT

Thank You!
Thanks for everyone's patience and support.  This is my first crowdfunding experience and I've learned a lot (usually after it would have been beneficial, but c'est la vie. You should have your books soon and hopefully, soon after, piles of dead characters to look down and laugh about!

Post-Campaign Update 7: Distribution Has Begun!
about 2 months ago – Fri, Jun 26, 2026 at 07:13:15 AM

Hello, everyone!

I'll jump straight to the point: physical books have been sent to Space Penguin Ink and will begin distribution to y'all in the next few weeks. It's been a wild journey from "fun idea in the back of my head" to "more books than I could safely lift," but we're in the final leg of it now -- a few locals even came out to GAMEFACE in Baltimore to pick their books up in-person!

As mentioned before, due to their hand-crafted nature the special edition books are being shipped separately by yours truly. And I do mean hand-crafted:

Is it still called penmanship when you're carving each letter out with a knife?
Cave paper bindings are nearly finished and awaiting cover stamping (and a bit of glue).

If I had to describe the process in one word, it would probably be: exhilarating! Getting to work with these materials is incredibly rewarding, and seeing the stack of finished books slowly piling up beside me fills my heart with joy. I certainly have not been sealing each one with a kiss, despite any rumors or photographic evidence to the contrary.

That's all for this time, backers, as I feel the siren song of my workshop calling me back. You've already done all you need to do, so from here on it's just a waiting game between you, me, and your local postal service delivery expert. See you soon!

Post-Campaign Update 6: Surveys Locked, PDFs Distributed!
3 months ago – Wed, May 20, 2026 at 07:38:52 AM

Hello, everyone!

Big announcement today: I've just finished locking in Backerkit surveys, charged cards, and distributed PDFs via Backerkit's pledge manager. If you backed at a level that gives you a PDF, you should have received an email a little bit ago with a download link. If not, comment and I'll get you sorted out immediately!

Physical books are being packed up for shipment to Space Penguin Ink in Florida. The special limited edition books are being assembled as we speak, and let me say you lucky backers are in for a treat. There's some really gnarly patterning on this stag hide parchment, and the cave paper is gorgeous:

Cave Paper, torn instead of cut to keep that rugged, hand-made edge.
Look at these colors and scars. Ceritified 100% gnarly.
With a special shoutout to the all-star bookbinder, Laserbeam.

I'll keep this update brief as I'm sure you all want to get right into your new books, but thanks again for supporting the project! Expect another update in the coming weeks as physical distribution of the edition is under way.

Post Campaign Update 5 - The last few Surverys
3 months ago – Fri, May 15, 2026 at 07:22:22 AM

Almost There!

We are almost at the finish line. If you have not yet, please fill out your BackerKit Survery email! This locks in the final numbers. You have a bit of time, but not long. Pledges and shipping are locked in on May 20th. Once locked in, we can begin distribution.

  • PDFs will be distributed by Backerkit once things are locked in.
  • Physical copies set to Ship will sent to our fulfilment partner Space Penguin Ink
  • Physical set to Local Pickup will be available where I am - schedule below.
  • Limited Edition Bindings are in the works and won't be far behind. If you got one of these, you'll get the regular copy and the limited edition at that same time. Incidentally, there are still a few of these left as add-on options!

If you have any questions, please let me know! I want to make sure everyone get this sick adventure in their hands (or the digital equivalent).

Folded, Gathered, and Bagged. Just like your characters will be.
Limited binding paper in the press getting squeezed "just so". Your characters are going to get squeezed. Squeezed to DEATH!
Close-up of the limited edition binding paper. I love the texture.

On The Road Again

You can track me down to say hello or get a local pickup at the following places:

  • May 23-24: GAMEFACE CON at the Peabody Heights Brewing Company in Baltimore, MD
  • May 29-31: Concoction at the Vineland Convention Center in Vineland, NJ
  • June 8: Granite Coast Brewing Game Night in Peabody, MA
  • June 12-14: CNYRPG CON at the Burrstone Inn in New Hartford, NY

Question: If you are on the road, how will you ship stuff?

Great Question, Agatha. I'll be travelling, but I'm going to travel with everyhting that might ship so once we have the numbered locked in I can get stuff to the post office asap! I'm going to be rolling around Philly between GameFace and Concotion and will have plenty of opportunity to make sure things are on the move.

Just some folks being goofy at Granite Coast Brewing.Nothing to do with this update, but that is genuine happy.

Again - THANK YOU to everyone who backed, supported, or encouraged me on this journey. I'll chat with you later, nerds.
